Since a crisis of faith in my teenage years, I’ve leaned into tough questions Christians face. During my time seeking answers through Scripture and Christian writings, I developed a passion for helping others find the same answers I had found.
I joined the staff of my church in 2013 and graduated from Liberty University in 2018 with a B.S. in Religion: Biblical and Theological Studies. I worked on staff at my church until 2022. I left to be a full-time mom to my then eighteen-month-old daughter. While I stepped out of vocational ministry, God planted a dream in me to write a book. I had always loved writing and excelled at it through my college career, so I welcomed the challenge. Through writing, I was able to explore the same themes that had drawn me to ministry in the first place, with the hope that God would one day use my words to help others.
When I’m not writing, I’m chasing my two young children. I’m a stay-at-home mom who loves to decorate cookies and sing way too loudly when playing the piano. My family and I live in the house my husband built on my family’s old farmland in North Carolina where we enjoy watching the cows out our living room windows.
